1. Overview
At Tiles of Ringwood, we take great pride in the quality of our products and services. However, we understand that sometimes you may wish to return an item.
This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
This policy applies to all purchases made through our online shop and details the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds can be processed.
2. Eligibility for Returns
You may return goods to us for a refund within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that the following conditions are met:
The goods must be in their original packaging, unused, and undamaged.
All products must be in a re-saleable condition.
The goods must be returned to our warehouse within the 14-day period.
Items that are used, damaged, or not in their original packaging may not be eligible for a refund.
3. Return Procedure
If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service team first at sales@tilesofringwood.uk within 14 days of receiving your order.
Once your return request has been approved, you will receive return instructions and the address of our warehouse.
All goods must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Tiles of Ringwood cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in return transit.
4. Restocking Fee
A 25% restocking charge will be applied to all returned goods.
This fee covers the handling, inspection, and re-stocking costs associated with processing returns.
The cost of returning goods to our warehouse is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service when sending items back to us.
5. Inspection and Refunds
All returned goods will be inspected upon arrival at our warehouse. Refunds will only be issued once the goods have been:
Received in full,
Checked and verified as unused, undamaged, and in a re-saleable condition.
Once approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days of inspection.
Please note: shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where goods are faulty or damaged upon arrival.
6. Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing sales@tilesofringwood.uk with your order details and supporting photographs.
We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund at no additional cost to you.
Failure to report damages within this timeframe may affect your eligibility for a replacement or refund.
7. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are excluded from our returns policy unless faulty or damaged upon delivery. These include:
Clearance or sale items,
Special orders or customised products,
Opened adhesive, grout, or sealant containers,
Perishable or time-sensitive materials.
8. Legal Rights
This Returns & Refunds Policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.
If goods are faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
