These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales and services provided by Tiles of Ringwood (“we”, “our”, “us”) to you (“the customer”, “you”, “your”) whether made in our showroom or through our online store at www.tilesofringwood.uk.
By purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

  • These Terms apply to all goods and services supplied by Tiles of Ringwood, whether purchased in-store or online.
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will apply to future orders placed after the date of publication.
  • All transactions are governed by UK law.

3. Product Information and Descriptions

  • We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing on our website and in-store displays are accurate. However, slight variations in colour, shade, texture, or finish may occur due to manufacturing processes, lighting, or screen settings.
  • Natural stone and porcelain tiles may display variations in colour and pattern — these are natural characteristics and not considered faults.
  • We recommend that customers inspect all tiles before installation. Once tiles are fixed, no claims for defects, shade variation, or size differences can be accepted.

4. Orders and Availability

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
  • Placing an order online or in-store constitutes an offer to purchase. We will confirm acceptance of your order via email (for online orders) or by issuing a receipt (for showroom purchases).
  • In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock or unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or a full refund.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the prevailing rate.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect confirmed orders.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For online purchases, payment is securely processed via our approved payment gateway.
  • Goods remain the property of Tiles of Ringwood until full payment has been received and cleared.

6. Delivery and Collection

  • Delivery is available throughout the UK. Delivery charges will be clearly displayed at checkout or quoted upon request.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation from the courier with tracking details (where applicable).
  • Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays caused by third-party couriers, traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access for deliveries and must inspect goods upon arrival.
  • If damage or shortages are found, these must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • For in-store purchases, collection must be arranged within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

7. Returns and Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you wish to return an item, you may do so within 14 days of receipt in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013).

Returned goods must be:

  • In their original packaging,
  • Unused and undamaged, and
  • Fit for resale.
  • Returns must be sent to our warehouse at the customer’s expense.
  • A 25% restocking charge applies to all returns.
  • Refunds will only be issued once the goods have been received, inspected, and confirmed to be in a resaleable condition.
  • Bespoke, clearance, or special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty.

8. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

  • If goods arrive damaged, defective, or not as ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • We may request photographic evidence to assist with the assessment.
  • Once confirmed, we will replace or refund the affected items at no additional cost.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act (2015).

9. Installation and Usage

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all goods are checked before installation.
  • Tiles should be installed by a qualified professional using appropriate adhesives, grouts, and sealants suitable for the material and environment.
  • Tiles of Ringwood will not be held liable for installation errors, incorrect preparation, or misuse of materials.
  • Shade variations and batch differences are common in tile production — we recommend purchasing an additional 10% for cuts and future repairs.

10. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of goods supplied. We are not responsible for:
  • Indirect or consequential losses,
  • Labour or installation costs,
  • Loss of profit, business, or opportunity resulting from defects or delays.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

  • We collect and process customer data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us in writing at sales@tilesofringwood.uk.
  • Once dispatched, the return process outlined in Section 7 applies.

13. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport delays, or equipment failure.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
