Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Overview

At Tiles of Ringwood, we aim to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible from the moment you place your order through to delivery. This policy outlines how orders are shipped, the areas we deliver to, and what you can expect when receiving your tiles and materials. Our goal is to ensure an efficient, transparent, and reliable delivery service that protects the quality of your products and offers complete peace of mind.

2. Delivery Areas

We provide delivery across mainland England, Wales and Scotland. Our delivery network is designed to cover the majority of UK postcodes efficiently.

Please note, we do not deliver to:

  • Isle of Man

  • Channel Islands

  • Scottish Isles

These locations are currently outside of our distribution zones and we cannot arrange shipping or collection by courier to these areas.

If you are unsure whether your address is within our delivery range, you are welcome to contact us prior to ordering and we will be happy to advise.

3. Delivery Costs

We aim to keep delivery charges as clear and straightforward as possible.

  • Orders with a total value under £400 are subject to a £50 delivery charge.

  • Orders £400 and over qualify for free standard delivery.

Delivery charges are calculated automatically and will be shown during checkout before payment is completed.

4. Delivery Method: Pallet Delivery

Most of our products, including tiles, adhesives, and materials, are delivered via pallet for safe and secure transportation.

What to expect from pallet delivery:

  • Your order will be securely packed and delivered on a wooden pallet.

  • Deliveries are made using a pallet truck and tail-lift vehicle.

  • Someone must be available to receive and sign for the delivery.

  • Deliveries are kerbside only (to the nearest safe point at the delivery address).

Kerbside delivery explained:

Pallet deliveries cannot be transported into your home, garage, driveway or garden. The driver will unload the pallet to the safest accessible area near your property. This is an industry-standard procedure to ensure safe unloading and protect both the customer and driver.

We always recommend having assistance available to help move goods once delivered.

5. Delivery Timescales

Our team aims to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary depending on product availability, location, and demand, but in most cases orders will arrive within 2–7 working days.

You will be contacted when your order is ready to be dispatched, and where possible, we will provide:

  • A delivery date

  • Estimated timeslot

  • Delivery updates

Delivery takes place Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

6. Access and Delivery Requirements

To avoid delays or failed delivery attempts, please ensure:

  • Your property has suitable access for a large vehicle.

  • The delivery point is safe, level and free of obstructions.

  • The route to your address is suitable for a lorry (no narrow lanes or restricted access).

If access is limited or you are concerned, please let us know prior to delivery and we will do our best to accommodate.

7. Receiving Your Delivery

When your order arrives, please check the goods carefully before signing. We recommend inspecting any visible packaging and tiles immediately.

If there are any issues such as damaged or missing items, please notify us within 48 hours by emailing:
sales@tilesofringwood.uk

Where possible, please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the issue

  • A brief description

Our team will work with you promptly to resolve the issue.

8. Failed or Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • No one is present to receive the order,

  • The access is unsuitable or unsafe,

  • The delivery details provided are incorrect,

a redelivery charge may apply. This is because transport and pallet handling fees are incurred once a delivery has been arranged and dispatched.

9. Packaging, Handling & Safety

We take every precaution to ensure your items arrive in excellent condition. Orders are packed and wrapped securely to protect them throughout transport.

For large or heavy orders, tiles are stacked safely and professionally to minimise the risk of transit damage.

10. Customer Support

If you have any questions about shipping, delivery times, pallet services or access to your property, our customer service team is here to help. Please feel free to contact us:
